The ILD60 is targeted at video conferencing applications, medium-sized TV rooms in sheltered housing, home theater applications, and small office environments. It provides the full facilities required for a professional installation in such environments.
While not providing the usual range of controls and inputs of our commercial equipment, the ILD60 can be used very easily in small interview rooms, for both local hearing and control room talkback. In particular, the use of the low-cost single-ended microphones reduces the cost without any serious penalty. The EM 336 tie cip microphone is provided with the ILD60.
The unit is designed to be used with a SINGLE-TURN loop of convenient wire size. Additionally, the unit is also equipped with an input for direct connection to televisions via SCART, audio output or headphone jacks in order to obtain very good quality sound, without being affected by room noises and volume used for listeners with normal hearing.
The unit meets all requirements of IEC118-4, and satisfies all CE requirements for interference emission, immunity, and safety.
The ILD60 Induction Loop Driver is also available with a 12 V DC power supply for mobile applications.
